Traditional "Asham" aka "Chilibibi", from the idyllic island of Carriacou. Corn (maize) is a staple crop of Carriacou & Grenada. It is an essential part of the local diet and is used in various traditional dishes, including this one.

The climate in Carriacou is generally suitable for corn cultivation, with warm temperatures and adequate rainfall. Our Asham is made from corn harvested from SLIM's FARM. This  corn-based snack is believed to have been introduced to the Caribbean from West Africa.

Asham is known by many other names - "Jamaican Asham" and  "Chilibibi" among others.
